Application for hiring sponsor begins in Italy
Gazette has been published in Italy to take 69,700 workers. The official gazette was published on 17 January. Earlier, the process of submitting applications has started from 9 am on January 12. However, applications are being submitted on different dates in different sectors. Of these, non-seasonal applications will start on January 27 and seasonal applications will start on February 1. In this way, the interested people can submit the application continuously till March 17. On the other hand there are two categories; Those who come on a non-seasonal visa will get a two-year stay-permit and those who come on a seasonal visa will get a validity of 9 months.
It is known that this year 2022 will be very difficult for general sponsor Bangladeshis to apply. One of the reasons for this is that in the cases where non-seasonal sponsors have given, Bangladeshis do not have much ownership in these sectors. Bangladeshi businessmen have not been able to dominate in construction, heavy transport, tourism and big hotel business. As a result, it will be difficult to get non-seasonal sponsors. In this sector 27,700 workers can come from different countries. Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Korea (Republic of Korea), Costa de Avorio, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Philippines, Gambia, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Kosovo, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Moldova, Moldova, Moldova 17,000 will come from Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Ukraine.
On the other hand, 42,000 workers from 31 countries including Bangladesh can come to Italy on seasonal visa. However, the seasonal visa for 2020 has not been seen to come out yet. In that case, there are concerns in various quarters about how many sponsors will come out after the submission this year.
Anicuzzaman Anis, a legal adviser, said the non-seasonal (sponsored) visa application announced in Italy on January 27 was not as open as in previous years. This time, interested people can submit only in three categories. Can apply in construction sector, heavy vehicle drivers, large residential hotels and tourism.
It goes without saying that Bangladeshi expatriates do not have much relationship with the owners of the categories mentioned here. In that case, it is much easier to apply for a seasonal visa for agriculture. If you get a good owner, it is possible to get a visa within four to five months.
