Position: Head of Finance, BRAC Sierra Leone

Job Location: Sierra Leone
Accounting and funding (including grants and contracts) and providing finance, leadership, technical support, supervision, and direction to IT teams. The employer will provide guidance to development programs and microfinance teams as needed and will work closely with a variety of functions and programs, including procurement and HR and administration. In Sierra Leone, BRAC NGOs and microfinance entities, local regulators and custodians of finance processes to ensure compliance with BRAC international policies and guidelines will be a key member of the Financial Country Management Team (CMT). AOP) and other entities will assist the team in achieving the goal. S / He will report to the Country Director of Development Programs and the Chief Executive Officer of BRAC Microfinance Sierra Leone Limited. Job Educational Requirements:
Qualified Accountant- CA / CPA / ACCA / ACMA with Master’s / MBA degree in Finance / Accounts or related field.
Job Required Competencies:
- Strategic Planning
- Familiarity with best practice in thematic areas
- Experience in financial reporting, payroll management, account reconciliation, donor reporting, Value for Money (VfM), Tax management, legal and IT issues, FoRex management and treasury management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent relationship and network building skills
- Flexibility to work in different time zones with the people from different culture
- Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft office
- Excellent English language proficiency
- Demonstrated technical expertise in the subject area
- At least five years of practical experience in a senior financial management position in a financial institution, commercial or microfinance organization at national and international level or in an international NGO with solid Microfinance financial management background.
- Experience in working with national partners, Donors, Local / Government authorities, NGO financial and budgetary field, Banks and Lenders.
- A proven experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and team management
